Seoul City Hall's Workplace Daycare Center, the first to adopt Moss Wall Art, transforms into a space filled with warmth and nature.
On May 27, 2018, the Seoul City Hall Workplace Daycare Center was recorded as the first symbolic space in Korea where Moss Wall Art was applied to a workplace daycare center .
The artwork installed that day was custom-made in an L-shaped frame design centered on the walls of the sleeping room and lobby , taking into consideration the emotional stability and relaxation of children.
The soft texture and vibrant green of natural moss add a warm atmosphere to the entire space, giving children a sense of security as if they were in nature, and conveying a sense of trust to staff and guardians.
The design applied to the sleeping room in particular was carefully designed to allow children to rest more comfortably by carefully adjusting the lighting and atmosphere.
This installation at the Seoul City Hall Workplace Daycare Center became the starting point for the spread of moss wall art to public institution workplace daycare centers and child welfare facilities across the country.
It remains a meaningful example that sets a new standard for improving child welfare through the creation of nature-friendly spaces.
