Jeonju Natural Ecology Center: Nature Flowing Through Space—A Three-Dimensional Reinterpretation with Moss Wall Art

The Jeonju City Nature Ecology Center has been reborn as a space where nature and art harmonize. For this renewal project, Moss Wall Art further highlighted the center's identity through customized art designs for each space, including non-molded gradient designs , wide wave-patterned panels , and striped wall designs for photo zones .

On the wall of the stairs leading from the first to the second floor , which is the first thing visitors see, a non-molded gradient work resembling the flow of nature is placed, providing visual stability that relieves the tension of vertical movement .

The lobby reception area is equipped with wide wave pattern panels in a horizontal ratio, conveying both ecological identity and sensory lingering sensations to visitors.

The photo zone, a particularly popular spot for visitors, features a striking striped wall design, depicting flowers flowing from a relief jar . A custom-made butterfly chair sits in front of it, adding a sense of vitality and playfulness to the entire space.

An official from the Jeonju City Nature Ecology Center said, “It was a matter of injecting real natural texture into a nature-themed space,” and added, “Moss Wall Art was not just a simple decoration, but a partner that encompassed both ecological sensibility and educational purposes.”

This installation is evaluated as an artistic attempt to elicit emotional communication between nature, space, and the viewer, and presents new possibilities for the spatial design of public cultural facilities in the Jeonju area.
