Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Visualizes Sustainable Energy Philosophy with Moswall Art
– Clean energy meets ecological design… Embracing nature in the headquarters space
On March 11, 2022, Moswall Art was installed at the headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power , the center of the domestic energy industry, and the philosophy of sustainability and eco-friendliness was implemented in the space design. This installation is evaluated as a rare case where the symbolism of an organization in charge of nuclear and hydroelectric energy and the philosophy of eco-based design are in harmony.
The installation took place in the hallway and public space in front of the conference room in the headquarters, and a large custom-made work themed with a flowing wave pattern caught the eye. In particular, the pattern was elaborately designed to harmonize with the identity of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, with the motif of the flow of hydroelectric power and the circulation of energy.
For this project, Moss Wall Art utilized a special curved frame and self-developed high-quality moss panels to create an organic aesthetic that seems to permeate the space. The design, which reveals the vitality and sculptural beauty of nature within the restrained structure of the interior, has garnered great responses from visitors and staff of the institution.
