On April 20, 2023, Moss Wall Art was installed on the first basement floor of Hyundai Motor Company's headquarters, transforming the monotonous and stuffy atmosphere of basements into a lively and warm space.
This installation, which utilizes natural moss, not only improves indoor air quality, but also provides a visual sense of relaxation closer to nature, adding comfort to the employees' movement path.
Considering the characteristics of the underground space, which is especially windowless and isolated from the outside, the vivid texture of moss and organic curved design were utilized to maximize the sense of liveliness.
A Hyundai Motor Company official said, “Since the underground space is also a part of employees’ daily lives, we focused on improving the quality of the space so that they can feel nature there.”
