KB Insurance Installs Moss Wall Art at 8 Fire Stations… ‘Green Comma’ at the Front Line of Disaster Response
KB Insurance, together with the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, installed moss wall art in eight fire stations across the country as the first step, creating a healing space that provides psychological stability to firefighters working under extreme tension.
Moss wall art is an indoor wall greening artwork using natural moss. It does not require maintenance and is expected to have air purifying and stress-relieving effects, so it is considered a design suitable for fire stations, which are disaster response outposts.
This first installation was mainly applied to spaces where firefighters can take a break, such as waiting rooms, break rooms, and hallways, and provides a sensory rest while encountering nature in the midst of their busy daily lives.
A KB Insurance official said, “We hope that this will provide small but warm comfort to the members who are suffering from invisible hardships,” and added, “We will continue to engage in sustainable social contribution activities in the future.”
