Gyeryong City's public Gyeryong Saessak Daycare Center announced on the 27th that it installed moss wall art on the main interior walls as part of efforts to improve the space for a nature-friendly daycare environment.
This installation is an ecological art wall using natural moss, and was planned to help children develop visual stability and emotional development.
In particular, it is an eco-friendly element with humidity control functions, antibacterial properties, and noise absorption effects, and is expected to have a practical effect of improving the indoor environment beyond simple decoration.
A daycare center official said, “Incorporating images of nature into the spaces that children encounter every day will greatly help improve the quality of childcare,” and “We are glad to have been able to create a warm and safe educational environment through Moss Wall Art.”
Through this installation, Gyeryong Saessak Daycare Center is being evaluated as a leading example of improving the spatial quality of public childcare facilities.
